Finally we can all travel throughout Scotland. Most importantly everyone can now happily get back into the hills and mountains. With COVID - 19 restrictions in place for over 12 weeks it will come to a massive relief for folk cooped up in cities especially. For myself I can now get back to work and guide folk on mountain photography workshops.

The Summer solstice was a nice way to welcome back the mountains. One of the finest views is the Shelterstone Crag at dawn. I was up very early and travelled by bike and foot from the house to be in a position to capture first light. A beautiful sunrise. Perfectly timed just as cloud moved in after a beautiful sky and light. Key ingredients for landscape photography.
